Mildred Elley is proud to announce that the institution will be transitioning to the Moodle learning management system beginning with the Spring 1 2016 term. The implementation of the Moodle learning management system is a tangible example of the institution’s commitment to continuous improvement by focusing on academic improvements and student service improvements.
The Moodle learning management system is used by over 8,300 educational organizations in the United States, and as reported by Inside Higher Ed, Moodle edges out competitors such as Blackboard among smaller colleges. Moodle is the second most popular learning management system used in higher education today.
The use of Moodle will help to prepare Mildred Elley graduates to transfer and easily transition to other institutions currently using this learning management system. Further, there are many faculty who already have a familiarity with the Moodle learning management system.
Faculty training sessions will start in mid-December. email@example.com will continue to be your online learning technical support resource. Please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org for training information.
